OWSTS has launched a new product range under its OWS Rubber Floorings banner. 1. General Manager - Profit Centre Head.


OFFICE TIME : 9:00 AM TO 5:00 PM

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate Degree ( M.Com / M.E./ M. Tech), Preferably Civil.

                                                       Master Degree (MBA or Equivalent Degree in Marketing & Sales)

EXPERIENCE : 15-20 years. Knowledge of Building Materials and Civil Construction Items will be preferable.

INTERVIEW TIME : 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM


Leadership Role

  • Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in relation to the new launch.
  • Should be self-starter and responsible, who would take ownership of a project from start to final delivery
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and manages sales operating budgets.
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
  • Ensures effective control of sales results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of sales objectives falls within designated budgets.
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitors competitor products, sales activities.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Guides preparation of sales activity reports and presents to management.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

Developmental Role

  • Developing new business and creative stream
  • Coordinate with Operations for Costing and Logistics
  • Making sure brand KPI’s are met month-on-month
  • Stay updated with current trends to source new and innovative partnerships and tie-ups on an on-going basis.
  • Own and continuously manage the brand’s digital footprints and expansion of these to new platforms as relevant.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

Administrative Role

  • Provide continuous supervision, training and development of department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team.
  • Liaise with the HR team / Director – Operations in conducting performance appraisals and ensure competency and training gaps are addressed.

Regulatory Role

  • Developing and tracking annual topline targets for the region based on market dynamics, product offering and project profitability assumptions 
  • Analysis of marketing campaign and leads post launch in terms of ROI and lead conversion metrics
  • Create and execute scientific approach of determining launch price and steady state prices of all projects from time to time
  • Mapping Product performance against competition and tracking best practices to generate insights
  • Functional Area: Head Profit Centre ; Sales & Marketing ; Customer Relations ; Supply Chain Management
  • Entrepreneurial mind set and drive to build the business under you


o       Excellent Strategic planning skills

o       Sound understanding of various markets and consumer insights. 

o       Very sound negotiation skills / presentation skills. 

o       Good network in the Activations/Promotions. 

o       Proven ability to delicately solve sensitive matters

o       Excellent communication skills, Presentation Skills and customer interaction skills 

o       Ability to function in cross functional teams
